So yes, It has been 3 long months since I updated last! No excuses. Just focused fully on my goal of losing weight!
So... how have I gone in the last 3 months? FANTASTIC! I went for another follow up appointment with my doctor about a month ago, and my blood pressure was (drumroll please....) PERFECT! Every bit of blood, sweat and tears (well, no tears really), paid off!
And for the current total weight loss? Since the start of my journey (end of May) to now, I have lost 16 kilograms! That's just over 35lb for those who don't use metric weight. My body has changed so so much. I'm getting so many compliments on the new me! I still have a little way to go, and have been quite slack for the past 3 weeks or so (so imagine how much I would have lost if I hadn't slacked off!). But I'm getting my groove back and I'm going to kick this in the butt and get rid of the last 10kg I want to lose (22lb).. I know I can do it. I've lost a huge amount of weight so far. I can do more :D
I have dropped at least 2-3 sizes in my clothing. It has been a long long time since I last fit into my current size! I definitely have to get a current set of photos done to show you my progress :) I promised weekly photos, but heh.. a bit lazy in that department!
So here is to the next 10kg that are going to drop off me! It feels SO good to have lost the weight I have. I didn't realise just how bad my health was at my heaviest. It is liberating to feel so much lighter and happier!
Anyway, that's my update for now! I'm not going to promise a daily update, but I will be back more often to check in with my progress :D
